Our Vehicles

Caliber 01

Clean – Our employees ensure every one of our vehicle's remains within our high standards of cleanliness at all times.

Green – Our state of the art fleet uses e85 non-ethanol Flex Fuel and receives a staggering 26 miles per gallon.

Safe – We have brand new passenger vans, offering Five-Star crash ratings, side airbags, even GPS assistance in the unlikely event of an accident.

Our People

Caliber 03

CPR Certification and Safe Driver Training – It's not a law; it’s not even a policy a lot of transport companies follow. But we’re different. Every Caliber driver is fully certified in CPR/First Aid/AED for adult, child, and infant. But we don’t stop there. Our drivers are first trained in defensive driving, and then are continually tested to ensure the safest driving fleet on the road. Standard drug screening, background checks, and MVR searches (company wide) make for a safe workforce and workplace. Our promise to you is a safe, clean and sensitive environment for you or your clients to ride in. Something the competition just can’t match.

We provide the best-trained drivers. For starters, we only hire drivers with a minimum of two years of experience. Then we provide initial training and continuous education with the latest driver care insights.

First Aid/CPR/AED Standard – You trust our people with your life and the lives of your loved ones. This is something we don’t take lightly. Caliber Patient Care administers American Red Cross® CPR, First Aid, and AED training and certification for every driver and we hold each to a high standard of care.

Certified, Caring People –Our exclusive Transport Care training program covers safe driving, in-care safety, accident avoidance, and patient transport. Every driver will be in uniform, have a photo ID badge, and will look presentable and professional.

FAQs

What is Non-Emergency Medical Transportation?
Non-emergency medical transportation is for patients who require special medical attention while in transit from one location to another, and who do not require medical intervention or treatment or rapid transport to an emergency facility. Medex VITAL is a long distance non-emergency medical transportation service, however we are not a Medicare or Medicaid provider. VITAL is the perfect alternative to the air ambulance, and is a service of CalvertHealth.

Who Uses Non-emergency Medical Transportation?
An ideal candidate for non-emergency medical transportation is a person who is medically stable, yet still requires medical support. For example, a resident of a nursing home who has recently been released from the hospital could use VITAL to return to the nursing home. Or perhaps a chronically ill patient might need medical transportation to get to a specialist in a distant location.

Transport Driver in Fort Smith, AR

I feel appreciated

Management is wonderful! They actually care about employees. I am frequently told how much I am appreciated, and that I'm doing a good job. Pay is also very good.

Medical Transporter in Louisville, KY

Dont waste your time

This job is not for people who have a family, and some problems from time to time because truthfully they don’t care what you have going on in your life. All they care about is you making “they’re” money and them short changing your hours to not fully pay you. And it’s really not a full-time job. They tell you it’s full-time but it’s really part-time. The benefits are high as only thing you will be able to afford is the dental and vision especially sense they are only 3 dollars a piece per pay check. SO I BEG OFF YOU PLEASE SKIP THIS JOB. Have a good day.

CSR - Customer Service Representative in Nashville, TN

Call Center Rep

An interesting place to work. The owners were pretty chill. The Call Center was a unique environment with alot of personalities. Would suggest having prior call center experience to be successful. A bit too much gossip and drama daily for my work environment.

Station Supervisor/Driver in Donelson, TN

Questionable

The owners flip/flop daily on what you can and can't have the other drivers do. One day they tell you to assign vans to the drivers and then the next day they reverse that without telling you before they send out a mass e-mail that they are changing the way you are trying to get things done.
